Mayfield Wants to be the QB to Fix the Browns’ Performance

Baker Mayfield believes he can fix the performance of the Cleveland Browns. The team owns the first pick of the 2018 NFL Draft, and many experts believe they will be choosing the former Oklahoma quarterback.

The Browns have had poor luck when it comes to choosing quarterbacks. However, that is not the case with Baker Mayfield. He is a Heisman Trophy winner who is confident that he has the skills and talent to turn the team around. Mayfield said that the Browns have all the right pieces of a winning team, and all that’s left is a great quarterback. He thinks that he is the right man for the job.

The Cleveland Browns own the top pick in the NFL Draft this year. They also hold the number four spot. In the second round of last year’s draft, they picked DeShone Kizer, a quarterback from Notre Dame. They were optimistic about the capability of the team but they were winless the entire season and had a 0-16 record. In two seasons, the team only won once. As a result, the team changed its general manager, and experts say they are looking for a new quarterback as well.

With less than a month to go for the NFL Draft, people are speculating whether the team will choose Baker Mayfield as the top pick of the year. There are talks of trading the number 1 pick, but the more likely scenario is that the Browns will use it on Mayfield.

If Mayfield goes to the Browns, will he lead the franchise in the right direction? On the other hand, will he just be another player whose career will be wasted playing for the Browns? Fans will find out on April 26 during the 2018 NFL Draft.
